Research and Development

Reasearch and Development (R&D) is a process by which a product or service undergoes continual improvement by means of research and development. As the aesthetics and functional aspects of a product or service are studied modifications can be made to create a stronger, faster, lighter and or cheaper product or service.
Product Design and Development is a critical factor in the survival of a company. In an industry that is constantly changing, firms must continue to revise their design and range of products. This is necessity is due to continual technology change and development as well as competitors and the changing tastes of customers. A system driven by marketing is one that puts a customer needs first, and only produces goods and serivces that are proven to sell.
